Train schedule changed due to Manikpur yard remodelling

ALLAHABAD: Due to remodelling work at Manikpur Yard and Solid State Interlocking (SSI) at Manipur Station, from May 11 to 23, there will be a change in train schedule. Some of the trains would be short-terminated, diverted, or cancelled.

Train numbers 12189/12190, 12189/12190  Mahakushal Express and Jabalpur-Nizamuddin Express would travel through Ohan-Bansapahar, instead of passing through Manikpur. The train would be given a stoppage of two minutes at Bansapahar station. Passengers going from Nizamuddin to Manikpur have been requested to de-train at Chitrakoot and board train number 12448 Hazrat Nizamuddin-Manikpur Sampark Kranti Express for going to Manikpur.
Similarly, train number 15009/15010 Lucknow-Jabalpur Chitrakoot Express would pass through Ohan-Bansapahar, instead of Manikpur. The train would be given a stoppage of about two minutes at Bansapahar station and the passengers could take an alternative train at Bansapahar Station that would take them to Manikpur. Passengers from Lucknow and Kanpur desirous of going to Manikpur should de-train at Chitrakoot and board train number 11107 Bundelkhand Express that would take them to Manikpur.
Train numbers 54155/54156 Kanpur-Manikpur Passenger would be short-terminated at Bahilpurwa Station, instead of Manikpur. The train would proceed to Kanpur Central from Bahilpurwa Station during this period.
Train numbers 51807/51808 , 51807/51808  Banda-Manikpur Passenger would remain cancelled from May 17 to 23.
Train numbers 51763/51764, 51763/51764 Satna-Manikpur Passenger would be short-terminated at Markundi Station that comes under the jurisdiction of West Central Railway. This train would proceed to Satna from Markundi Station itself, from May 17 to 23.
Train numbers 51819/51820 , 51819/51820 Jhansi-Allahabad Passenger and train number 51189/51190 Itarsi-Allahabad Passenger would be given stoppage at Manikpur station for only five minutes, from May 17 to 23.
